I’ve been unsatisfied with my go-to online retailers lately, so I’ve been trying new ones! Here’s my honest Goodbye Bread review.

Goodbye Bread is a relatively new e-tailer that is similar to Dolls Kill in terms of their style and the brands they stock. Their in-house brand is called Hoes Before Bros (amazing name, I know), which is who the majority of items I got are made by.

Now, without further ado, here is:

My Goodbye Bread Review (in bullet points for your viewing pleasure)

Here’s what I got:

The Good:

  • Shipping was super fast, I received my stuff in just three days!
  • Quality was on the mark for the price point.
  • The shoes were by Cape Robbin, a brand I’ve come to love for affordable + trendy shoes (you can find them on Amazon too!)
  • My order came with a nice personal note thanking me for shopping with them — it’s the little things!

The Bad:

  • Hoes Before Bros only offers S, M, and L currently.
  • The selection on Goodbye Bread could be better (but they’re a growing site, so I foresee it growing progressively).
  • They only accept returns for store credit, just like Dolls Kill (*insert eye roll emoji here*).

The Honest Opinion:

If you guys would read an entire essay on why I’m obsessed with these boots, I would write it. They’re the thotty girl’s version of leggings for winter. They’re like a combo of high-socks and heels, and they’re amazing. They’re super comfy (I can wear them when I know I’ll be on my feet all day), they’re adjustable (so they can still work with slightly longer items, I just bunch them a bit), and they go with legit everything. AND they don’t take up a lot of closet space because like I said, they’re basically just socks.

I have similar feelings about the sweatshirt, although since I usually leave the house in skintight outfits, it hasn’t gotten quite as much wear. However, it has gotten a ton of wear in the house, because a giant sweatshirt is usually what I wear all day while working, and this one is super comfy. I also like that it’s one size, because if it was up to me I’d probably have ordered a small and it’d be too short to wear as a dress, and not as comfy to feel like a boyfriend sweatshirt around the house.

Both leopard items are well-made and that good level of see-through but not too see-through (at least if you like to free the nipple like me). Like I mentioned, they’re both a little big on me, so I prefer to knot them up in the front to give me a more fitted look. I’m still not completely sure what to wear the mesh dress with — maybe a swimsuit cover-up?

Also, I’ve been thinking of making a “master” list of sorts with the sites I shop at, with their pros and cons (similar to what I’ve done here for Goodbye Bread). Would anyone be into that? LMK in the comments!
