red leopard tom ford lox cover

Want the Tom Ford all red leopard look for under $100? I’ve got you.

I’m definitely not the type of person who live-streams fashion shows, but when I saw people sharing photos of all red leopard looks from Tom Ford’s Fall 2018 Ready to Wear show, I was like, “damn, that looks familiar!”

Funny enough, I put together a super-similar all red leopard print look a few months before (and obviously didn’t post the pictures until now, because I’m always behind).

But, in a way it’s kind of good I waited, because now I feel more validated in my red leopard fashion choices and maybe you’ll be more inspired to rock an all-red leopard look since it’s gotten Tom Ford’s stamp of approval.

Obviously, my outfit wasn’t originally supposed to mimic what was on Tom Ford’s AW 18 runway, so mine is much skimpier and much less high-fashion (which is never really my style anyway). So don’t come at me with, “this looks way cheaper than the Tom Ford look.” Like, yes, obviously it does, because the entire outfit cost me under $100.

I’ve had the tights for the longest, I originally purchased them from Urban Outfitters because I was young, naive, and didn’t realize I could get better quality tights for way cheaper from Amazon. You can find a similar pair here.

The beret is from Dolls Kill, and you might have seen it in my other post on “how to wear a beret without looking like the type of girl who obsesses over Paris.” It’s sold out on Dolls Kill, but this Amazon version is super similar. If you want my version in white, you can get it here.

The dress is legit a body stocking, which I love because that means it’s perfectly form fitting no matter your size. It’s definitely a little skimpy (and probably intended to be worn in the bedroom), but I say wear it to the club because it’s hot. I got it on Yandy, but surprise, surprise, it’s also available on Amazon!

I actually did purchase the shoes on Amazon after @yisaloo got a pair in pink and said they were legit. Unfortunately, even with socks, I don’t find them very comfortable. Maybe they’re just not meant for my foot shape? At least they look good in photos, I guess.

Also, I’ve been trying to figure it out but Google is of no help. Does anyone know if there’s a word like monochromatic, but meant for patterns? It feels like there should be, and if there was, I’d be using it in this post.

Anyway, here’s to dressing like a low-budget, Prime version of Tom Ford’s AW 18 looks. You deserve it, bb.
