While I could make some guesses and theories as to why, instead I’m going to tell you a little bit about Bestvibe, an adult e-tailer that kindly sent me a few toys to entertain myself with during quar. Keep reading for my Bestvibe review…

What I Got: 

I chose two items from Bestvibe, a remote rechargeable dolphin-shaped bullet vibrator and a suction toy. I chose the vibrator because it was cute, to be honest. I chose the suction toy because I tend to prefer suction toys to vibrators generally, and I’ve never tried one for nipples before. 

Dolphin Bullet Vibe:

I know I’ve said I generally don’t like vibrators, but I actually liked this one! The dolphin shape was surprisingly ergonomic and it was a good size for all necessary activities. I would say that the vibrations from this toy were more of a hum than a buzz, if that makes sense, and I think that’s why I liked it. It’s easy to charge and easy to clean, and it’s super cute which is always a plus (if you accidentally leave it out, it’s less offensive, lol). For the price point, the remote control element is a great add-on (usually remote-control toys are at least $50), although I’m not sure how far you can go and still maintain connection.

Powerful Sucking Vibe: 

This was definitely an interesting toy and I’m glad I chose it. I decided to test it on my nipples because I already have a clitoral suction toy that I love (read about it here) and it was no joke. By no joke, I mean that it really sucks hard! Not hard enough to be painful like nipple clamps, but almost there. The listing claims there are multiple settings, but to be honest the first one was intense enough for me! It didn’t really mimic the effect of a real human sucking, it was more like a vibrator that also sucks down. It doesn’t alternate sucking on and off, if that makes sense. While I liked the feeling for the most part, I found the size and shape of the toy a bit awkward for self-pleasure because I found myself wanting to hold it with one hand (even though it was probably sucking hard enough to stay up on its own). Personally, I don’t really see myself using this one again just because I have a clitoral suction toy I like better and I also have nipple clamps which are smaller and simpler to use. I also could see it being a bit difficult to clean depending what you use it for because of the shape. However, for the price point I still think this is a good buy depending on what you’re into!

The Good:

• Although items were shipped from China, they arrived in just 3 business days and shipping is free when you spend over $50
• Items arrived in overall good condition and included chargers, instructions, etc.
• Items were packaged discreetly, which is a big part of Bestvibe’s mission. The sender simply is listed as “Mr.X” and even the toys themselves were in nice black boxes without labeling.
• Prices were very reasonable
• While some of the site copy is clearly written by someone who doesn’t speak English as their first language, they do have nice visuals showing you where and how to use toys (specifically the nipple suction toy page is very encompassing—NSFW though)

The Bad:

• Like most toys, you have to charge these straight out of the box before using it
• The dolphin toy had some scuff marks on it which was a bummer right out of the box, it might be due to them getting banged up during shipping because the box they came in looked like it had been through a lot

The Good To Know:

• I’m pretty sure there are no returns, which is pretty standard for most adult retailers
